In little more than two years, the bulk of the Affordable Care Act (AKA Obamacare) will take effect. Before 2014, companies in all healthcare-related fields have a lot of issues to consider. For one, the part of the law stipulating that all legal residents must be required to obtain insurance - through traditional insurers or lower-cost state exchanges - or face a penalty.
