RNC Hispanic outreach leader becomes a Democrat

Many politics and culture watchers may be wondering: how is that so-called Republican party rebranding effort going? You know, the one where they acknowledged that most Hispanics consider the party a joke at best and toxic at worst. That rebranding is only a few months old, but here's another example that it's going badly.

Although labor union membership has been in decline in the United States for decades, the number of union members is increasing in one state, California, and most of it due to Latinos, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Latino Youth Becoming Safer, Less Sexually Active

Latino youth in the U.S. are learning to practice safe sex. And they're also having less sex. That's according to new data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Data compiled from 2007 to 2011 shows the amount of sexually active high school Latinos has decreased by 3.9 percent.
