Asian American Marketing
Asian Americans comprise 5% of the U.S. population at approximately 15 million people. They represent a culturally and linguistically diverse consumer segment, as 90 percent of the Asian American population comes from six distinct nationality groups. Chinese represent the largest Asian sub-group, followed by Filipino, Asian Indian, Vietnamese, and Korean.
Asian-American households are more affluent than any other population segment in the United States, with a median income of $69,504 that is 34% higher than average.
